A few weeks ago my car AC stopped working. Rich diagnosed the problem pretty quickly and gave me an estimate. He told me that it would be hard to beat, but I checked with a few other shops anyway. He was right, they were a couple hundred dollars cheaper. I was glad to support a new business run by two local guys (Rich and Zak) and save some money in the process. They treated me fair and well, and were fun to deal with. While discussing an unrelated problem (excessive oil consumption), Zak suggested a $7 fix, which slowed down my oil consumption significantly. What a refreshing change, a mechanic who suggests a cheap easy fix instead of gouging me for an hour or more of labor. The next time something breaks, I know where I'm bringing my car.
